Pal Players present a 24 Hour One Act Theater

The PAL Players of Performing Arts Luray announce an exciting new theater event: 24-Hour Theater. Director Claire Comer invites participants from across the region. “If you’ve considered becoming involved in theater but you have been concerned about the time commitment, this is the event for you. It requires only a 24 hour commitment.” The Players are seeking writers, directors, actors and backstage crew to participate March 19 and 20, 2010.

For the event, participants will assemble at the BB&T Center for Performing Arts in Luray Friday, March 19 at 7:00 p.m. Writers and directors will be paired and actors and crew will be assigned to each writer/director team. Writers will then work through the night to create a one-act play for the actors they’ve been assigned. Actors, directors, and crew will return at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 20 and prepare to perform the play at 7:00 p.m. that evening.
